Adam Davison - Head of Data Science at The Economist

Hello everyone! We are delighted to announce our special speaker - Adam Davison, who is the Head of Insight and Data Science at the world-renown international business publication “The Economist”. 

During the talk he will cover a wide range of topics, including:
-His transition from physics related academia to commercial data science
-An overview and discussions on the current data science industry
-Q&A session to answer all your questions to succeed your career in the data science field!

After finishing his Master’s in Physics and PhD in High Energy Physics from UCL, Adam continued his research in the field of Physics. Later on, he switched to studying human beings as a Lead Data Scientist in Qubit., which is a company that produces personalization software via big data analysis. The sum of all these experiences has successfully led him to the field of data science as the Head of Insight and Data Science at The Economist. 

So whatever your current degree is, this would be an amazing opportunity to broaden your knowledge on data science and gain tips on how to successfully proceed into this field!
