Monzo CEO & Co-Founder: Tom Blomfield

UCL Entrepreneurs and the UCL Guild are proud to be hosting Tom Blomfield, CEO & Co-Founder of Monzo. This talk is a no-brainer whether you are a budding/in-the-making FinTech entrepreneur or a wanna-be Banker who wants an insight into the disruption traditional banks are facing.

[EVENT IN BRIEF]
Monzo is now synonymous with the future of banking. Serving over £1 Billion in transactions through its accounts, as of today Monzo is one of the few FinTech start-ups that is really changing the landscape of banking.

With a goal to serve over a billion customer in the coming years, Tom Blomfield has been there from the start. As an original co-founder of the company, he now leads it as CEO and will be coming to UCL to share his entrepreneurial journey. More about Monzo on their website: www.monzo.com

[SPEAKER: Tom Blomfield]
Tom, prior to his starting his entrepreneurial journey, studied Law at Oxford Unviersity. boso.com & GoCardless were Tom's first two entrepreneurial endeavours, being so successful, both were accepted onto Y-Combinator. During Tom's time creating GoCardless, a now hugely successful Direct Debit servicer, much of the groundwork was laid for the shake-up that was to become Monzo.
